The Hockey Manawatu Vision: Facilitating maximum participation and enjoyment for all of the Hockey Manawatu community.
Hockey Manawatu's goals are to:
- Foster and encourage the development of the game throughout the Manawatu region.
- Promote and support development programmes designed to assist and grow.
- Youth Hockey catering for primary and secondary school children.
- Coaching at all levels.
- Umpiring at all levels.
- Recruitment, training and retaining of administrators.
- Facilities including playing surfaces and social spectator facilities.
- Manage and develop the artificial surface and facilities at Fitzherbert Park.
- Promote competition by controlling club, representative and national competitions within the region.
